what beautiful pictures. our winter officially begins right after thanksgiving and goes to march and sometimes (ok lots of times) to the middle of april. but when it starts snowing and getting very cold in the beginning of December it makes for a very long and cold winter. sometimes November and December stay above freezing. then we have only 3 months of the cold. but lately.... who knows how long any season goes anymore.
